Stuttgart Volksfest

Today we woke up with a plan. A plan to get very drunk. So Stephanie got a bunch of her friends and coworkers to come with us to Stuttgart's Volksfest, which was like the Oktoberfest but much more mellow. It was also a Monday afternoon so we were looking forward to it not being insane. So we hopped on a train and were off to the festival! The ride was about two hours with one transfer. And one stop was this:

Is that a man-made undead monster next to you or are you just excited to see me??

So we got to the Stuttgart Volksfest, and immediately went for a beer tent. Within about five seconds I had my hands on this:

I'm gonna dinkel your acker all night long..

And pretty soon I started recording our experiences.

And then we started making up our own lyrics to the German songs we heard...

And we tried to make Michelle chug a beer LIKE A MAN!!

But she didn't know how. Poor thing. She's too skinny I think.

Michelle, you should really eat more...

So to work off some of the giant beers we had, we hopped on some bumper cars!

And everyone went after Michelle and Stephanie. It was hilarious.

Then we went to a different beer tent and got some food as well.

Crispy pork. Basically fried chicken BUT WITH PORK!!

Stephanie got this:

Sausages with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. MMMMmmmmmmmmMMmmmMMmMMMMMmmMM

Then the waiter took our photo WITHOUT PROVOCATION!!!

He was honored to take a picture of such an attractive group I think..

THEN THE BAND STARTED PLAYING COTTON EYED JOE OR WHATEVER AND THIS HAPPENED:

Europe will never recover.

After we finished our beers, we giggled at this:

Then we went on a log flume which got us SOAKING WET and we were FREEZING. So to warm up we ate some currrywurst!

Basically sausage with curry sauce on it lol

THEN we went to a wine tent and GOT SOME....

BEER BAHAHAHAHAAH

We were feeling very good. So we took pictures of our group.

The best looking ones on one side of the table...

And the... well... need I say more?

Then Michelle started making gang signs so we had to leave.

She gets like this sometimes.

On the way home we were able to sneak on to a first class suite. AND STAYED THERE.

Michelle was still making gang signs though.. I think she has a problem. She also has a problem with finding the camera.

On the second train we got onto the restaurant car and had a few sodas.

We wanted more food but they refused to give it to us. WAH.

So we got back safe, and are very full of beer, good food, and good friends. I'm also a little gassy. ON TO TOMORROW!!!
